Youth

Haverim - This is a program for preschoolers to provide them the opportunity to learn about being Jewish with other Jewish tots.  Meeting once a month, for an hour, they learn about the Sabbath and our Jewish holidays, as well as gaining a basic Hebrew vocabulary.

Religious School- The school works to foster a sense of commitment and Jewish identity in our students. It provides the young people of our congregation and their families the tools they desire to pursue lifelong study of the core texts, values, rituals and beliefs of Judaism.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Studies - Students of bar and bat mitzvah age receive special training from our Rabbi to prepare them to assume the responsibilities to become adult members of our community.

United Synagogue Youth - The USY is a program for our youth ages 13 through 18 sponsored by United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. The chapter has many opportunities to participate in regional, national and international events, which are held in Maryland, across the nation, and elsewhere in the world. The members take part in fundraisers and projects throughout the course of each year and plan and attend numerous religious and social activities. USY is a wonderful way for teens to connect with other Jewish teens and to enhance their own leadership and Judaic skills.
